A static, text-first publication
Northbound Field Guide is a static informational website. It does not knowingly create accounts, accept payments, run a booking engine, send a newsletter, operate a contact form, use analytics, provide trip tracking, or intentionally store contact data through the site. If you choose to email the editorial address, your message is sent through your own email provider and the recipient's email system; ordinary email handling is outside the static page itself. Do not send sensitive travel, financial, medical, identity, or ticket information.
Cookies, resources, and links
This site does not knowingly set cookies or operate tracking. Its delivery may use third-party resource providers such as a Tailwind CDN, font providers, or image-media providers. When a browser requests those resources, those providers can receive ordinary connection information such as an IP address, browser request data, and the page request needed to deliver the resource, under their own policies. The site also links to external official or informational resources; those sites have their own privacy practices. We do not control them.
Practical choices
You may choose not to load a page or external link if you prefer not to make those ordinary browser requests. Browser settings, content blockers, private browsing tools, and your network choices may change what third parties receive. This notice describes the static content site as published and may be updated if its actual practices change. For editorial email, use [email protected]; it is not a secure support channel.
Field note 01
For privacy on a static guide, check the exact stop name before the travel day. A useful plan distinguishes information that changes from choices you can make for yourself. Current routes, stop arrangements, prices, availability, operator conditions, and local service patterns belong with official sources; comfort, recovery, and a sensible buffer are your own design decisions. This is especially helpful for a privacy-conscious reader in an unfamiliar city, where an ordinary walk, a different station exit, or a late meal can matter more than a neat route diagram. Keep the note short enough to read with a bag in hand, then let the day remain flexible rather than trying to predict every minute.

Field note 03
For privacy on a static guide, map the arrival-side local connection before the travel day. A useful plan distinguishes information that changes from choices you can make for yourself. What this site actually does
This is a static informational publication. It does not provide accounts, ticket booking, a checkout, payment processing, reservations, a support portal, a newsletter sign-up, analytics, behavioural advertising or a server-side contact form. The editorial email link and contact helper open the reader’s own email application; this site does not receive, transmit to its server or store the draft.
Pages load third-party assets: Tailwind CSS and web fonts from their named providers, and editorial photographs delivered by a media CDN. A request for those resources can disclose ordinary network information (such as IP address, requested asset, browser details, approximate time and referrer as configured by the browser) to the respective provider. Those services set their own policies; the site operator does not control their processing. Clicking an external official-operator link likewise leaves this site and is subject to the external provider’s terms and privacy policy.
The pages contain no site-operated analytics, advertising tags, visitor account or persistent preference storage, and they do not intentionally set cookies. A browser, CDN or third party may still have its own technical logs or cookie behaviour. If the publication’s technical setup changes, this explanation must be revised to match the new implementation.
